Association for the Advancement of Scientific International Relations Studies (AASIRS) is registered under the Registrar of Societies (K), Societies Act CAP. 108, registration No. SOC/80968.

Objectives of AASIRS

  1. Establish a functional network of scholars, researchers, and practitioners to facilitate the advancement of a scientific approach to the analysis of international relations issues, promote scientific exchange and policy influence
  2. To offer opportunities for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to position members’ intellectual and policy interests in the global system
  3. Provide a platform for scholars and researchers to interact with policymakers and practitioners to facilitate linkages between the production of knowledge and its absorption
  4. Improve the quality of teaching, research, and debate on African affairs in international relations
  5. Build a repository of knowledge generated by African scholars through premium journal and books publications
  6. Maintain interuniversity teaching and research exchange programs among universities teaching and researching African affairs in international relations.
