International Relations and Diplomacy Students Celebrate the Chinese New Year at China Town

Chinese New Year, popularly known as Spring Festival is considered the world’s biggest annual migration. Chinese people travel from the cities to their rural homes, exchange red envelopes, eat dumplings and shop among other activities.

To mark this special occasion, the school of International Relations and Diplomacy, Chinese language students celebrated the Chinese new year2022 (year of the tiger) in style. They visited China Town to explore Chinese New Year behavior which includes food shopping and eating. For the first time in their life, most students were able to taste different delicacies served in the New Year like dumplings and hotpot.

China town also gave them an ambiance to experience Chinese character culture . We can only look forward to celebrating the next Chinese festival. It is never late to say happy Chinese New year from the school of International relations and diplomacy.

中国新年被认为是世界上最大的年度人口迁移。中国人从城市返回农村,交换红包,吃饺子和购物等等。

为了纪念这一特殊时刻,国际关系中文学生们,以别具一格的方式庆祝了二零二二年中国新年(虎年)。他们参观了唐人街,探索中国新年的行为,包括购物和吃饭。大多数学生有生以来第一次能够品尝到不同的新年美食,比如饺子和火锅。

唐人街也给了他们一个氛围体验汉字文化在大街上,我们只能期待庆祝下一个中国的节日。国际关系学校祝所有中国人在肯尼亚新年快乐!
