Dr. Michael graduated with a Master of Divinity (Intercultural Studies) from International Leadership University (Nairobi, Kenya) in 2011. Michael also holds a Doctor of Ministry degree (Missions and Community Transformation) from Asbury Theological Seminary (Kentucky, United States) and a PhD in Peace and Conflict Studies at Masinde Muliro University where he researched on the Role of Islam in National Cohesion and Integration in Kenya. He holds ten professional Certificates from Peace Operations Training Institute in Williamsburg Virginia and has presented papers in several international conferences. His areas of research interest are: Regionalism and conflict management, ethnicity and identity and religion in governance, development and politics. Some of his work has been published in international journals while some papers for publication are in advanced stages. More than 10 years in University teaching.
