James holds a B.A degree (2010) and an M.A degree (2020) in Political Science and Public Administration with a focus on Comparative Politics and International Relations both from the University of Nairobi

James is an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of International Relations and Diplomacy where he teaches; Comparative Political Systems, and Foundations of Conflict Analysis and Management. James holds a B.A degree (2010) and an M.A degree (2020) in Political Science and Public Administration with a focus on Comparative Politics and International Relations both from the University of Nairobi. His M.A dissertation is a longitudinal study that examines the influence of devolution on access to public healthcare services in Kenya, 2013-2018. Before joining the school of International Relations and Diplomacy, James served as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration-University of Nairobi. Previously, James worked as a Policy Research Assistant at the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA), and as a Grants Administrator at the International Rescue Committee (IRC)-Kenya Office.
