RU rotaract club welcomed to rotaract club of Nairobi Lavington

The Rotary Club of Lavington has sponsored their first Rotaract Club. On Friday, September 18, 2015 the club had its first sponsorship and nomination meeting for new Rotaract Club of Riara University in an event led by Rotarian Head of New Generations Dennis Gichane and President Emily Mutua.

The nomination saw Ms. Valerie Mugaza, Law student voted as the first president of Rotaract Club of Riara University with a 5 member Board of Directors under her leadership.

Rotaract brings together young adults ages 18-30 to take action in their communities, develop their leadership and professional skills, and have fun. Rotary clubs sponsor them, but Rotaract members manage and fund their clubs independently.
